Went button searching today, in a final desperate attempt to find 15mm plain white buttons with four holes. Did find some, but they were too big. Bought them anyway, in the hope that the cardigan’s buttonholes would miraculously grow by the time I got home, which of course didn’t happen. I may have to face the fact that I am destined never to finish this accursed garment!

The too-large-button-selling shop had a selection of cheery bright acrylic FaB, so I picked up this fantastic camouflage colour to knit a hat for smallest son. If you can’t see it, then the colour is perfect!
