It’s official. I am in love. Why? Just look at these beauties which he brought me this morning:

They are the new Opal Rainforest sock yarns. The one on the left is “Owl” and the other is “Tiger”. I am going to cast on for the owl socks immediately this entry is finished!

Lots of finishing up of odd bits and pieces the last few days. I knitted a pair of booties from this pattern for the Angel Yarns Knitting Forum Monthly Challenge. So of course a matching hat was required, modelled here by Desmond the Dodo and based on this pattern.

That’s it – can’t wait any longer! Off to cast on for the owl socks!
