Crosshatch lace socks

Close up of pattern

Pattern: Crosshatch Lace from More Sensational Knitted Socks
Yarn: Middle Earth Yarns 100% merino sock yarn, “Blackberry” colourway, three quarters-ish of a 100g skein
Needles: 2.25mm Susan Bates dpns

These are Diane’s birthday present, for today was her birthday. :-D Kai and I went to see her and shower her with pressies and play with all her other ones and had a splendid time. I knitted (or is that knit, eh?!) in public in A PUB and met some other lovely knitters including my new best friend Jackie who thought I was only 21. I may love her.

Oh, and the socks went down well. The pattern is definitely one of my favourites from the book, and the scrummy merino yarn was lovely to knit with. Cairi is definitely a dyeing wizard. :-D
