I think parcel tracking, while good in some respects, is a dangerous thing for me to have. I’ve had an unhealthy obsession with my Amazon account for the past few days. 
Fortunately, my stalking ended early this afternoon, when there was a knock at the door and my books were delivered. 
I’ve not had a chance to read through them thoroughly, of course, but after a quick glance I’m happy enough with my purchases. Though the Vogue sock book not so much. Not because of the apparent errors, Diane 
, but more because it’s not so different from the Sensational Knitted Socks books. It even has pattern swatches in it, taken from the Vogue Stitchionaries. I think I may have to accept that I have far too many sock books and duplication of content is now going to be pretty much inevitable. 
The other two books I bought for help with designing, as at some point I want to branch out beyond socks and scarves. The Deborah Newton book looks dated in some parts, but it has invaluable information on shaping for sleeves, necklines, etc, as does the Vogue Reference Book. It’s the maths what scare me with sweater design the most. *wibbles*
