Almost halfway there now. It’s easier to see how it’s constructed now, and spread out like that, it looks pretty impressive. The centre pattern is very simple, so it’s just a case of plugging on with it until I’m done.

Kate thats so gorgeous!!! I think I am in love. I really like that shade of green, I am not a huge green fan but thats such a pretty shade, its going to look amazing.

Ooh, that’s lovely. I have the book with that pattern and have been pondering it, but wasn’t sure about it. But seeing yours makes me think I should have a look through the stash sometime soon and see if there is something that will suit! I am a bit put off by the thought of casting on that many stitches, though….but I can see how that would give me something to look forward to as I knit.
And if your comment on my blog was meant to direct me to a certain Sweetheart Socks pattern….I made them last year for my mother and loved them! Perhaps next Valentine’s I’ll come back and try them again.

That’s lovely. Is the pattern easy to understand? I have just skimmed it but it made no sense at all *rolls eyes* I’m guesing it’ one I need to read with needles in hand :o)
