I've been thinking something along this line myself. Why would I want to put all the effort into a sweater to have it not fit? Really, I think it would be more heart breaking to knit something too small (which has happened to me a few times) than something a bit too big. Seams can always be taken in. Ya, I think I'm going to have to decide on a pattern and jump on in there myself. At least I finally got around to sort of putting my knitting room together.
