So finally, about six months after everyone else, I got a copy of Norah Gaughan Vol 3.
I’ve been trying to find it for a while and it seemed that everywhere had sold out, and those websites that did sell it wanted stupid money to send it to the UK. So I was pretty chuffed when I found that Loop in London sold it and snapped up a copy. 
The main reason I wanted it is for this pattern:
This design is Eastlake and I just love it an unreasonable amount. It’s the perfect shape for someone like me who has a bit of a wobbly frontage. I don’t know if it’ll be my next project, but I’ll think about that once the vest is finally signed off.
I also like these two, which are a similar shape:
Due to my rather large stash, I have enough yarn to knit all of these if I so wanted. Now I just need enough time. 
I too love Eastlake and Loppem. I didn’t know loop had the patterns, I might have to invest. Roobeedoo (www.roobeedoo.blogspot.com) has just finished a gorgeous Loppem – I’ve been put off by the amount of errata up to now, but it would be the perfect work cardigan.
I like your choices too! And am envious of your stash!! Although I have loads of sock yarn, I don’t have a great deal of anything else to knit something more substantial. Am off to look on Ravelry to see other versions of Eastlake.
well, i haven’t got any norah gaugan yet if it’s any consolation! eastlake always catches my eye, but i’m never certain i really like the placement of that leaf panel. and i have to join josiekitten in my envy of your sweater yarn stash. my stash is more suited to socks i suppose – i tend not to buy enough yarn for a sweater unless i know which pattern i’m matching the yarn to. socks are easier to guess yardage on
Time – ah yes. I know about that. When you get that 26 hour day arranged for us knitters, do be sure to let me know…….!

Oh, they are all lovely, I love the tunic shape, it is ‘forgiving’!. Especially like the grey one at the end there, but I think I would have to give it pointy medieval style sleeves
I love all three of those sweaters to death. Eastlake in particular is really gorgeous, but Loppem is calling me, too.
I can’t find the book here, either. Heh. Two different parts of the world, same problem.
They’re my favourite patterns from that book too. I haven’t ordered mine yet, but I’m definitely going to!
Thanks for your free patterns. I have added them to my Raverly queue. I want this pattern book too. I have have more patterns than I could ever knit even if I could doubled my lifespan. But I will still buy it.
There are some great designs in the book. May have to invest in this one for myself. I so rarely find a book with more than one design that I like in, which makes it a rather expensive buy. I would knit all three of these!
