Argh! I ended up chrocheting her one instead, but I've been following your blog ever since. You do beautiful work, and I've been very inspired. But, since I have a baby daughter of my own, (another reason I enjoy your site) inspiration is moving slowly. Now that I've sort of introduced myself, the short version of the long story is that I'm looking for advice on lace knitting needles, and it looked like you would be a good person to ask. I've done a bit of lace knitting on regular needles, and have figured out that if I'm going to keep it up, I'd better have the proper equipment, if I value my sanity. So any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Well…I’m new here. Here, everything closes down for a couple of inches. Snow plows are regular trucks with a plow attachment. In upstate NY, where I went to college? DUDE! Huge snow plows. Capable of clearing snow that's up to your thigh. In the 4 years I was there, class was never canceled, not once. Here, they can't handle half that snow.
