Bonus post for today. I’ve just received a Knitting Daily email about Ann Budd’s new book, The Knitter’s Handy Book of Top-Down Sweaters (available to pre-order on Amazon here).
If it’s anything like the Handy Book of Sweater Patterns, then it’ll be completely brilliant. I already have Knitting From The Top, but that book isn’t laid out in such a way as to make it easy to get some yarn, knit a swatch and then get cracking. It’s been a while since I’ve pre-ordered a knitting book, but this one I must have! 
I read that e.mail today as well. Very tempted to download the e-book version (US$9.99) and print out pattern pages as and when I need them (the e-book’s available to download straight away, I think)…. I’ll let you know what I do!
Oh, and I love most of the patterns on the cover!
